I have experience as an ECE and a babysitter in Vancouver

Nice to meet you! My name is Asuka, and I am currently in my second year of a Working Holiday in Canada.

Experience
• During my first year on a Working Holiday, I worked as a babysitter for many families, and I am still continuing to care for several of them.
• I am also currently working as an ECE (Early Childhood Educator).
• I worked for three years at a Kodomo-en (a Japanese early childhood education center):
• 1st year: Homeroom teacher for mixed-age children (ages 3–6)
• 2nd year: Homeroom teacher for toddlers (ages 1–2)
• 3rd year: Homeroom teacher for children around 3 years old
• Worked part-time for three years as a children’s clothing store associate while attending university
• Worked at an after-school care program during long school holidays
• Assisted for one month at a bilingual kindergarten in Los Angeles

I truly love children, and my passion for working with them is what inspired me to come to Canada.
In my first year at the Kodomo-en, I was in charge of daily art and craft activities, so creative projects are one of my strengths.
During my second and third years, I was also responsible for toilet training.

I value music, outdoor play, and creative activities, and I always strive to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
I believe I can spend wonderful and meaningful time with your child.
