Hello from Yuka! A Passionate Educator from Gifu, Japan

Hello! My name is Yuka, and I’m 22 years old from Gifu, Japan. I am currently taking a break from my fourth year at a foreign language university in Aichi, Japan, and I’ve been staying in Canada since September on a working holiday visa. At university, I am majoring in education and American social studies. I have worked as an English conversation teacher for children ranging from kindergarten to high school, and also as a staff member at a children's center. I served as a team leader in the English conversation teaching job, always striving to provide the best education for the children.

Currently, I have a contract with a family for sick-child care. I have also obtained First Aid and CPR certifications. Although I haven’t yet graduated and don’t hold a teaching license for elementary, junior high, or high school, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in education, so please feel free to rely on me!

Additionally, I have no problem communicating in English with children who do not speak Japanese. I am also happy to teach Japanese to those who would like it. I am dedicated to ensuring the safety and happiness of the children I work with! I hope to connect with many wonderful families!
